Summary

Our family expect, in circumstances whereby we cannot get the full information or any closure, that listeners will agree it is only fair to conclude that terrible treatment that has been applied to our family from Jan'20 was to carry out a major GAA Cover Up of a serious 2019 Child Welfare Situation we were told a family member was subjected to and officers' management of it, that we had mistakenly understood was in the past by Dec'19. Unfortunately, that it extends to a State Cover Up. It was not until Nov'24 and into 2025, on getting access to the contents of a seriously misrepresenting Dec'23 Tusla report that had been withheld from us for a year, that we eventually got some form of understanding as to why such terrible treatment since Jan'20.

Between conflicted GAA officers and Tusla, that report was the last of seven documents that we had discovered, 6 of them through information requests, that were simply finalised and placed on our records, under the disguise of our club's good name, all without our knowledge of or opportunity to reply, so as to continue on a horrific story about our family.

It is most difficult to open up a cover up that involves child welfare and so too with the defence been to continue to create as many issues as possible for our family to complicate, dilute and bury matters, enabled by there existing a gap in external oversight and external bodies lending to assist the cover up. 

We initially prepared two videos, releasing Part 1 on what had transpired. However, it was severely restricted as we omitted the specific details of procedures applied directly to our family from 2020 and two Child Welfare Situations encountered prior to that. This was for personnel reasons, in consideration of children / people involved who may have been unaware of the extent of the cover up, and having been left feeling most intimidated as to what we can or cannot say.

However, it is clear that further information is required. So we are now releasing Part 1, updated with, not all, but significantly more information (we continue to try open it up without the specifics actions we were told our son was subjected to in the 2018 and the 2019 Child Welfare Situations).

We are also releasing Part 2, which gives listeners a taste of the trail of destruction left in the aftermath for our family. ​It also includes where we identify the solution rests, that is with aware National Politicians, who unfortunately continue to bury their heads in the sand. ​​​So too the Guards, responsible to uphold our Human Rights, but they identified no remit, then ignored and now the new Garda Commissioner sends the matter around the house back down towards local level yet again.

​Our expectation from the outset was that we would have to open up on everything in order to get accountability, rectification and change for our family. Unfortunately, that expectation is now becoming reality, and we expect to be back again to do so.
